"POWER THROUGH PLAY"

"POWER THROUGH PLAY"

Always was an incredible client to work with, as they allowed me the creative freedom to really make this campaign my own. I was tasked with a single prompt: create a campaign aimed towards a younger girls, around the age where they are experiencing menstruation for the first time. The objective was to create a campaign to raise awareness and educate girls about their changing bodies, support them through such a challenging time, and show them how always products are there to help them through this new stage of their lives.

RESEARCH

RESEARCH

Through thorough market research and analysis, I concluded that the best way to raise awareness would be to reach these girls at the source - someplace where countless girls went to perform and compete in their given sport. We decided to collaborate with ESPN and Disney at their annual Cheer competition, where Always would sponsor the event.

This is where the "Power Through Play" campaign originated, as I wanted to aim my campaign towards empowering and uplifting the girls. I wanted to leave them feeling confident and worry-free about their abilities to keep playing at their best, no matter the outside factors!

The emphasis on a younger audience is what inspired my designs for simplistic and 'cartoon' like drawings. Throughout the campaign I designed numerous materials, from billboards to lanyards. We wanted to have stand-out items like the branded main stage, as well as items we could give away at events.
